HACU awards more than $100,000 in scholarships

HACU announces the recipients of its Scholarship Program for the 2011-12 academic year. For a complete list of HACU scholarship recipients click here.

A total of $109,000 is being awarded to 30 students attending HACU-member institutions.  The awards were made possible through the generous support of sponsors for the following 2011-12 academic scholarships:

  • Deloitte Scholars Program
  • Kristen A. Sanchez Deloitte Student of the Year Scholarship
  • NASCAR/Wendell Scott Award
  • United Health Foundation Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Scholarship

The online scholarship application for the 2012-13 academic year will open in the spring of 2012 and will run through the end of May 2012. Information will be provided at www.hacu.net/scholarships.
