HACU president speaks at CSUF symposium and Spanish book fair in California

HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores was recently in California to speak at two events.  

On May 11th, Flores presented on the topic of Confronting Inequality: The Work Agenda for HACU Institutions – and the Rest of American Higher Education,” during a symposium hosted by HACU-member institution, California State University-Fullerton. The daylong symposium featured a variety of speaker presentations under the theme, "Confronting Inequality: Political, Educational and Social Consequences & Remedies."

On May 12th, Flores was a speaker on a panel discussing the topic of “The Role of the Mexican University in the United States.” The panel was part of a 2nd Annual Book Fair hosted by the Universidad de Guadalajara Foundation.
