Association for Institutional Research and HACU co-host IPEDS workshop

The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) are co-hosting a one-day IPEDS Workshop for data providers and users on October 20, 2012 in conjunction with HACU’s 26th Annual Conference at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Washington, D.C. Funding is provided by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and participants may apply for travel assistance awards of up to $500.

Six hours of instruction provided at no charge will be taught by experienced practitioners from across the country. The sessions are “IPEDS Finance Training for IR Professionals,” and “IPEDS Data and Benchmarking: Supporting Decision Making and Institutional Effectiveness,” and will include workshop materials, breaks, and lunch.

The workshop is limited to 40 participants, and priority will be given to current IPEDS Keyholders or State/System Coordinators if there are more registration requests than available spaces. An online registration request process and information page can be found here.
