The HACU and U.S. Army University Tour at UCLA

HACU and the U.S. Army hosted over 400 high school students from the Los Angeles Unified School District in a visit to the University of California at Los Angeles as part of a long-standing partnership to increase awareness about higher education opportunities for high school students. The HACU and U.S. Army University Tours allows students and guidance counselors to meet with university and U.S. Army officials to learn more about financial aid, admissions processes and campus life. The program is now in its third year, and the current tour is the fourth provided by the partnership, with the UCLA visit taking place August 27-29, 2012.




  

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, founded in 1986, represents more than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Spain, and school districts throughout the U.S. HACU is the only national association representing existing and emerging Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The Association’s headquarters are in San Antonio, Texas, with regional offices in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, California.
