HACU to induct Tomás A. Arciniega to its Hall of Champions during 2012 Annual Conference

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is proud to announce that its second inductee into the Hall of Champions will be Tomás A. Arciniega, Ph.D., who will be honored during the Partnership Luncheon at HACU’s 2012 Annual Conference. For more information on the luncheon and conference, click here.

As the longest-serving member of the HACU Governing Board and past Governing Board Chair (1996-97), Arciniega helped build HACU’s membership to more than 400 colleges and universities serving the largest concentrations of Hispanic higher education students in 26 states and Puerto Rico.

Arciniega is a widely published expert on higher education administration, bilingual education and multicultural education, and was selected as one of the top 100 academic leaders in American higher education by Change magazine. Currently, he is serving as Special Assistant to the Chancellor of the 23-campus California State University system.
