Nov. 9, 2012Lupe FloresHACU Scholarship and Leadership Awards for 2012-2013The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships and awards for the 2012-2013 academic year. The 31 recipients of the HACU Scholarship Program awards totaling $77,200 attend HACU-member institutions, and demonstrated financial need along with other program criteria. An additional $15,000 in scholarships associated with the HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) and a $10,000 leadership award brought the total amount awarded to $102,200. The 2012-2013 academic scholarships include:
Six students received scholarships of $2,500 each after completing internships with Sodexo through HNIP.
