HACU and Southwest Airlines offer Travel Program for college students

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and Southwest Airlines have announced that online applications are now open for the 2013 “Dándole Alas a Tu Éxito/Giving Flight to Your Success ^TM” ¡Lánzate! Travel Award Program. Online applications will be accepted through May 15, 2013.

Southwest Airlines tickets are awarded to undergraduate and graduate Hispanic students with socio-economic needs who journey away from home to pursue higher education. Students must submit an essay and enrollment verification with their application. Each student is eligible to receive between one and four tickets for use by the student or immediate family to travel to/from a college or university.
