HACU represented among panelists of Univision's Town Hall on Latino education issues

HACU President and CEO, Antonio R. Flores, and HACU Governing Board member and president of Santa Fe Community College, Ana “Cha” Guzman, were among the panelists of a special Town Hall on Latino education issues. HACU-member institution UCLA and Univision Communications co-hosted the Spanish-language town hall "Today is the Future" on Oct. 4. More than 400 institutions were expected to participate in the webcast.

Jorge Ramos, co-anchor of "Noticiero Univision," served as moderator for the town hall, which addressed the urgent need to close the Latino education gap and increase the number entering higher education to an audience of students, parents and teachers. The Town Hall was simultaneously streamed as an English-language interactive webcast on www.eselmomento.com.
