HACU Chicago National Exhibit Hall to feature College and Career Fair open to the public

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) will host a free National Exhibitors Hall featuring a special College and Career Fair, open to the public in the lower-level Salons of the Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue, Oct. 27-28, 2013. No registration is required for the public to attend. The HACU Exhibit Hall includes a national array of colleges and universities, corporations and federal agencies, and other organizations with programs and opportunities for students. Exhibit Hall AB will be open:

Sunday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

A special feature will be a free College and Career Fair with college-related workshops, co-sponsored by Roosevelt University - Heller College of Business and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). In addition to the opportunity to visit all the Conference Exhibitors, the Fair will offer workshops with information for middle school, high school and college students and their parents.

College and Career Fair will include exhibitors and Exhibit Hall Salon B participants and open:

•    Money, Money & More Money
•    Playing Athletics in College

•    Admissions Testing, the Final Hurdle

The HACU Exhibit Hall and the College and Career Fair are community events held as part of HACU’s 27th Annual Conference. More than 1,300 conference attendees, including 350 students from colleges and universities nationwide, will gather to discuss Hispanic higher education.

Chicago-area residents and visitors are encouraged to meet with 115 national exhibitors and participants during the two-day free and open to the public Exhibit Hall portion of the Conference.
