Students who apply for the Wal-Mart Achievers Scholarship must be full-time undergraduates enrolled in at least their sophomore year having completed a minimum of one year of full-time study. Students must have a declared major in: business administration, general management, retail management - or their equivalent majors/curricula. Students must also possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, preferably employed while attending school, and have an interest in retail management. In addition to meeting these requirements, students must also demonstrate financial need through eligibility for financial aid form a federal or state-funded program. The deadline to submit an application is June 28, 2002.
