2014 Hispanic College Quiz participants announced
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has received from Central City Productions (CCP) the names of the participants that will appear in the Hispanic College Quiz show this fall.
Twelve students from HACU-member institutions will compete in the 2014 Hispanic College Quiz show. More than 50 entries were received during the seven-day entry period.
The coaches will participate in a conference call to discuss the details of the show and related study material. The students and their coach (a staff/faculty member of the institution) will attend the taping in Chicago on Friday, July 25. The show will be broadcast nationally during Hispanic Heritage Month airing Sept. 13-Oct. 19, 2014. The broadcast schedule will be posted on HACU’s website.

Chicago-based Central City Productions, a leader in minority-targeted television, is the producer of the nationally televised Hispanic College Quiz and has partnered with HACU since 2007. Central City Productions supports HACU’s mission by enabling students from HACU-member institutions to participate and compete for scholarships in the show by demonstrating their knowledge of Latino history.
