HACU National Internship Program offers college students paid summer opportunities nationwide, apply by March 13  

March 13 is the extended deadline for students to apply for a 2015 summer paid internship offered through the Hispanic Association Colleges and Universities - HACU National Internship Program. The summer program offers students opportunities to gain valuable experience working at a corporation or a federal government agency, in Washington, D.C. or nationwide. 

Some additional information for the summer session:    

  • The summer internship dates are May 29 - Aug. 8, 2015. To accommodate students enrolled at institutions that operate on a quarter calendar, internship dates are from June 14 - Aug. 22, 2015.
  • Corporate summer internships - Some positions have already been filled but internship opportunities are still available with Aetna, BBVA Compass, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, GE, Hormel, Kellogg, PBS, and Sodexo. Students should email their resume which will be reviewed for consideration upon receipt.
  • Federal summer internships - A variety of opportunities are available with HACU federal partners. Majors in demand are: agriculture, business, economics, accounting, marketing, human resources, communication, education, information technology, computer science, civil, electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering, library science, law, mathematics, statistics, natural sciences, public health, public policy, public administration and translation/interpretation (English-Spanish).
