HACU partners with KIA Motors America, Inc. to offer first generation college students scholarships

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is partnering with KIA Motors America, Inc. to award 16 scholarships to eligible students attending a HACU-member institution

The KIA Motors America, Inc. Scholarships awards of $4,000 are for students in any major and first generation college students are encouraged to apply. Students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a four-year HACU-member institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico during the 2015-16 academic year.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Open to all majors. First generation college students are also strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Online application deadline is Friday, May 29, 2015.
  • Supporting documents (enrollment verification form and transcript) must be sent to HACU and postmarked no later than May 29, 2015.
