Call for entries for HACU Summary of Collaborative Practices Resource Guide

Deadline Extended July 17, 2015

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is seeking entries for a Summary of Collaborative Practices Resource Guide on collaborations that have been implemented between HACU member higher education institutions and their PK-12 partners.

HACU is seeking programs that have focused on improving the success of Hispanic students and closing the education gaps. The extended deadline to be included in the Resource Guide is Friday, July 17, 2015. Click here to download a Form.

The Resource Guide will be released at HACU’s first PreK-12/Higher Education Collaboration Symposium, October 10, 2015, a preconference event of HACU’s 29th Annual Conference in Miami Beach, FL. 

The Symposium will include:

  • Presentation of successful models of collaboration between higher education and PK-12 institutions leading to systemic change.
  • Discussions related to collaborative efforts that have enhanced matriculation, retention and graduation of minority students.
  • Panel discussions about other opportunities for collaboration.
