HACU Solution Generation Climate Leadership Awards deadline extended until Sept. 2
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), in partnership with Solution Generation, will honor one HACU-member institution with a $10,000 award for its excellence in climate leadership. The deadline to apply has been extended until Sept. 2, 2016.

The selection committee will reward the institution with the most innovative outreach efforts to engage its campus and broader community in climate and sustainability solutions. The award will focus on examples of institutions that are prioritizing climate change and sustainability, have implemented trend setting initiatives to take the issue to the next level, and are measurably influencing and mobilizing the community.
The institution selected will receive the award on Oct. 10, during HACU’s 30th Annual Conference Town Hall meeting in San Antonio, Texas. Additionally, three runner-ups will be recognized for their important climate and sustainability work on campus.
HACU member and colleges and universities have until Sept. 2 to submit their application. Winners will be selected and notified on October 3.
