College students begin summer internships at corporations through HACU's National Internship Program

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has partnered with corporations to provide students paid summer internships at companies and nonprofits across the nation through the HACU National Internship Program. 

College students will work 10 week internships through Aug. 27 at one of the following: Goldman Sachs, American Student Assistance (ASA), Deloitte, Federal Reserve Bank – Minneapolis, General Electric (GE), General Motors (GM), Pioneer Investments (in Partnership with the Money Management Institute (MMI) – Gateway to Leadership Program) and Sodexo. 

The Ford Motor Company Fund also provided five students the opportunity to gain experience at nonprofit organizations, including the League of United Latin American Citizens in Washington, D.C.; Cuban National Council (CNC) in Miami, Florida; United States Hispanic Leadership Institute in Chicago, Illinois; Adelante in San Antonio, Texas; and the HACU Washington, D.C., office.

The student interns are majoring in accounting, engineering, economics, computer information technology, sociology, computer science and more.

Student interns are from institutions in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
