May deadlines for HACU’s 2017-18 Scholarship Program  

Applications are being accepted for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) Scholarship Program. A total of 23 scholarships will be awarded to eligible students attending HACU-member institutions. The following scholarships from HACU corporate partners are still accepting applications: 

  • $1,000 Big Red ¡Avance! Scholarships – Applications are due by May 26, 2017. Five scholarships will be awarded.
  • $5,000 Café Bustelo® El Café del Futuro Scholarships - An essay (800 words) describing how your Latino heritage, family and the community in which you grew up has impacted your desire and motivation to obtain a college degree. Include your aspirations on what you hope to accomplish with your degree and how you will give back to your community. Essay and application is due by May 26, 2017. Nine scholarships will be awarded.  
  • $2,125 Oracle Scholarships - Applications are due by May 26, 2017. Four scholarships will be awarded.
