Internship application deadline for summer extended to March 3, 2017

The deadline for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities’ (HACU) National Internship Program has been extended to March 3, 2017. The summer internship program dates are June 2 – Aug. 12, 2017, with June 15 - August 26, 2017 to accommodate students who attend institutions that operate on a quarter calendar. Internship locations are in Washington, D.C., and at field locations throughout the U.S. The program offers paid internships and is open to all majors, with those at this link in high demand. The following agencies have expressed interest in hosting a HACU intern: 

  • Library of Congress (LOC)
  • National Credit Union Administration (NCUA)
  • National Science Foundation (NSF)
  • Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC)
  • U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
  • U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
  • U.S. Department of Defense-U.S. Navy (DOD)
  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services-National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services-Office of Minority Health (OMH)
  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services-Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
  • U.S. Department of the Interior-Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
  • U.S. Department of the Treasury (DOTr)
  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
