Opportunities for HACU-member Institutions
April 7 | Pledge Deadline - United We Dream - “National Institutions Coming Out Day” United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth-led organization in the nation, is inviting schools, universities, colleges and other institutions across the country to join the National Institutions Coming Out Day (NICOD) on April 19, 2017. NICOD is an annual day to highlight institutional champions committed to fighting for, and alongside, immigrant students. Institutions are invited to submit their commitment to United We Dream by April 7. Toolkit and information here.

Student Travel Award (for students)
April 14 | Application Deadline – HACU/ Southwest Airlines 13th Annual ¡Lánzate! Travel Award Program. Eligible college students selected receive e-pass(es) for use by the student or immediate family members to travel to/from a college or university. Download a program poster here.
HACU Scholarship Program (for students)

HACU/Solution Generation $10,000 Climate Leadership Award (for institutions)
May 8 | Call for Proposals
A $10,000 award will be given to a single HACU-member institution deemed by the selection committee to have the broadest, most innovative, and most effective outreach effort at engaging the campus and broader community in climate and sustainability solutions. Award to be presented at HACU 31st Annual Conference.
