HACU president and CEO Antonio R. Flores named to Latino Leaders’ list of “101 Most Influential Latinos” of 2017

HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores was named one of “The 2017 101 Most Influential Latinos” in Latino Leaders Magazine’s July/August issue.  Flores was recognized for his contributions to Hispanic higher education. 

Also on the list are HACU-member institution presidents Tomas Morales, Ph.D., of California State University San Bernardino, member of HACU's Governing Board, and Diana Natalicio, Ph.D., of The University of Texas at El Paso. Another Latino educator of note on the list is David Hayes-Bautista, Ph.D., professor of Medicine and director of the Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture at the School of Medicine, UCLA.

In the article’s introduction, the magazine describes the individuals listed as “Fantastic leaders with a diverse activity, all of them advancing Latinos all over the country and all across industries and professions.” 

This list includes leaders in education, government, activism, finance, business, health, science, arts and entertainment and athletics.
