Big Red Second Annual ¡Avance! Scholarship Program to encourage first generation students towards higher education

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is partnering with Big Red to award five $1,000 scholarships to eligible students attending a HACU-member institution. 

The Big Red ¡Avance! Scholarship Program awards of $1,000 are for students in any major and first generation college students are encouraged to apply. Students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Full-time undergraduate or graduate student
  • Must be attending a four-year HACU-member institution within the United States, or Puerto Rico
  • Open to all majors
  • Cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher
  • U.S. Citizen
  • First generation students strongly encouraged to apply

The deadline to apply is May 25, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
