HACU accepting student applications for fall internships nationwide

The Hispanic Association Colleges and Universities' (HACU) National Internship Program has extended its deadline to June 27, 2018 for fall internships.

The fall program offers paid internship opportunities for students to gain valuable experience at federal agencies in Washington, D.C., or at field offices across the nation. The internship dates are Aug. 23 through Dec. 7, 2018, for a total of 15 weeks.

Federal internships in the fall include a variety of opportunities with HACU federal partners. Majors in demand are: agribusiness and agricultural sciences, business, accounting, economics, finance, human resources, labor relations, marketing, communications, broadcast journalism, digital communication, journalism, civil/electrical/mechanical and petroleum engineering, information technology, computer science, geographic information systems, library science, law, statistics, natural sciences, biology, chemistry, environmental science, forestry, geology, natural resource management, veterinary medicine, psychology, counseling, social work, public health, public policy, public administration, translation/interpretation (medical English-Spanish).
