HACU and Google partner on Hispanic Student Leadership Summits

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is partnering with Google to co-host Hispanic Student Leadership Summits. Two Summits will be held in California, one at the Google Venice Beach Office on April 27, and the second at Google's new Cloud Campus in Sunnyvale on May 11, 2018. Each event is expected to include approximately 100 student participants.

Among the students selected to attend the one-day Summits will be Hispanic student leaders of campus organizations that focus on engagement with the Latino community and are enrolled at HACU-member institutions within the 80 mile radius of the event. The agenda includes breakout discussions, networking opportunities with the Hispanic Google Network, student group presentations, and a unique celebration for Summit attendees.

The Summit was created as an effort to bring together Hispanic student leaders from Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) and other universities to share innovative and creative best practices with one another, as well as collaborate with Google’s Hispanic leadership to benefit their university and community.
