Secretary of Agriculture to attend HACU’s 20th Anniversary Conference

San Antonio, TX – The Secretary of Agriculture, Michael Johanns will be at the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities’ (HACU) Partnership Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 30, accepting the Outstanding Public Sector Partner Award on behalf of the USDA.  The event is part of HACU’s 20th Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

The USDA has been a long standing partner of HACU from the federal side and has offered financial and programmatic support over the years.

“HACU is honored to have such a distinguished guest at this year’s conference,” said Antonio R. Flores, President and CEO of HACU.  “The USDA has been a strong champion of Hispanic higher education success since the association’s inception.”
