SAN ANTONIO, TX -- The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and the Educational Testing Service (ETS) announce the Year 2000 HACU-ETS Policy Fellows Program.
Through the program, fellows can develop professional knowledge and leadership skills in the policy arena, use information to support policy positions and build networks among those interested in Hispanic education issues.
HACU and ETS intend to strengthen a respective network of educators and scholars who can help shape and guide public policy and program initiatives. The overarching aim for all program participants is to expand the pool of leaders in the Hispanic higher education community.
The Policy Fellows Program is one of the first initiatives launched since HACU and ETS joined forces in 1998 to enhance the educational and career opportunities of Hispanics.
