Farewell reception held for summer interns from across the U.S.

A farewell reception was held on Aug. 6, at the Library of Congress (LOC), for students that participated in the summer HACU National Internship Program.  Jesse James, Acting Director of Workforce Diversity, welcomed the group on behalf of the LOC.  Dr. Antonio Flores commended the students for completing the ten-week session. A total of 425 summer interns, 404 federal and 21 corporate, were placed at 25 federal agencies, companies and non-profit organizations across the country.
