Member Advisory - February 9, 2009

On Sunday, March 1, The National Science Foundation (NSF) will hold a HSI listening session from  2-5 p.m. to collect stakeholder input on Section 7003 of the America COMPETES Act. This legislation authorizes the Foundation to establish a new program to support Hispanic-Serving Institutions.

Please see the Federal Register notice (PDF format) for complete information on this important project.

The NSF listening session will be held during HACU's 14th Annual National Capitol Forum on Hispanic Higher Education, "New President, New Congress, New Agenda," March 1-3, 2009, The Madison Hotel, Washington, D.C.
