Title V Technical Assistance Workshop scheduled March 4 

The U.S. Department of Education is planning a technical assistance workshop on Title V in conjunction with HACU’s upcoming Capitol Forum in Washington, D.C. The workshop will take place Wednesday morning, March 4, 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at The Madison Hotel, room Adams B. The workshop will include information on both the 2009 undergraduate Title V competition and the new post-baccalaureate program authorized by last year’s reauthorization of the Higher Education Act.

Reminder: any institution intending to apply for either Title V program this year must complete a “FY 2009 Request for Designation as an Eligible Institution for Title III or Title V Programs.” The deadline for such applications is February 20, 2009. The application can be found at:  http://www.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ope/idues/eligibility.html.
