"Take the Lead"offers mentor opportunities to students

HACU is a partnering with Sí TV on the "Take the Lead” mentorship program. This mentor program is designed to give students access to successful Latino community and business leaders. Students selected will receive hands-on training, networking tips and guidance to help them achieve their career goals. Sign up for this opportunity of a lifetime and receive guidance from respected and influential mentors including:

•   GIL CEDILLO, California State Senator, 22nd District

•   DEAN FLOREZ, California State Senator, 16th District

•   ALEX PADILLA, California State Senator, 20th District

•   ALBERTO TORRICO, California State Assembly Majority Floor Leader, 20th District

•   JOE VASQUEZ, Anchor, CBS 5 San Francisco

Applications open to students nationwide. Students selected will be featured on Sí TV.  For requirements on how to participate, visit Sí TV Web site.  Application deadline was extended from March 20th to a new deadline of April 3, 2009.
