HACU National Internship Program announces deadlines for 2009-2010 academic year

San Antonio, TX –The HACU National Internship Program , the nation’s largest Hispanic internship program, announces its application deadlines for the upcoming 2009-2010 academic year. These paid internship assignments give college students hands-on experience in a variety of careers in the federal and corporate sectors.

Applications are accepted in the fall, spring and summer.

 * To accommodate students who attend institutions that operate on a quarter calendar, we have a later start date for the summer session only.  Application deadlines remain the same.

  ** Early application deadlines are set for internships that require a security clearance, an extensive interview process or drug testing in order to participate. Such internships are with the Department of State, CIA, FBI, certain agencies within DOD and some corporations. If you are not selected for one of these internships, your application will automatically be considered for the additional summer internships we have available.

The HACU National Internship Program has had more than 8,000 participants since its inception in 1992.
