Antonio Flores to receive education award during Tribute to Hispanic Heritage

HACU President and CEO Antonio Flores will be among the honorees at the Hispanic Organization for Public Employees (HOPE) 6th Annual Tribute to Hispanic Heritage Banquet on Sept. 24 in San Antonio, Texas.

Flores will receive the Education Award and will be featured in a video honoring prominent local Hispanic civic leaders receiving awards at the banquet.

The Hispanic Heritage Banquet will take place on Sept. 24 at the Villita Assembly Building in San Antonio. A reception will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. awards ceremony & dinner. Since 2004, the Tribute to Hispanic Heritage Banquet has recognized prominent community leaders during Hispanic Heritage Month, observed Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. HOPE is a common interest, non-profit and nonpartisan organization committed to supporting present and future corporate objectives and to assisting in the development and advancement of Hispanics at CPS Energy and in the community it serves. Since its inception the organization has awarded $18,000 in college scholarships.
