HUD awards $6 million to 10 HSIs to improve communities
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently announced the grant recipients for the Hispanic-Serving Institutions Assisting Communities (HSIAC) Program. U.S. Secretary of HUD, Shaun Donovan, made the announcement to a policy gathering of the Hispanic Congressional Caucus Institute in Washington.
Nearly $6 million will be awarded to the following Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) to revitalize neighborhoods, promote affordable housing and stimulate economic development in their communities.
