HACU on the Road visits Denver and plans for California in November

The HACU on the Road tour made a visit to Denver on Sept. 29. The event, attended by local education leaders and supporters of Hispanic higher education, was hosted by the University of Colorado, Denver. In Colorado, UC Denver is among the HACU- member institutions, which include eleven colleges and universities and one member school district.

HACU was presented with a proclamation from John W. Hickenlooper, Mayor of the City and County of Denver, proclaiming September 29, 2009 as “Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Day.”

The HACU on the Road tour will continue after HACU’s Annual Conference. Six visits are planned in California, beginning with San Diego on Nov. 12. For other California dates, visit the HACU on the Road Web page (click here).
