HACU announces its call for presentations for 24th Annual Conference

HACU announces its call for presentations for the 24th Annual Conference to be held, Sept. 18-20, 2010, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego. The deadline for presentation submissions is April 2, 2010.

Presentations should relate to the conference theme, “Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Expanding Opportunities in Challenging Times.” There are six tracks including: Grants and Funding Opportunities; Partnering for Success; Recruiting, Retaining, and Graduating Hispanic Students; Advocacy and Legislation; International Partnerships; and Executive Leadership for Successful Institutional Strengthening. Individuals can submit more than one presentation but only one will be accepted per submitter. Presentations can be submitted individually or in groups. Notifications will be sent May 3, 2010.
