HACU Alumni Association Executive Board announces new members

The HACU Alumni Association is pleased to announce seven new executive board members.

The new board members include:

  • Maricela Huerta, Chair
  • Patricia Carrada, Vice Chairperson for Community Relations
  • Salvador Ortiz, Vice Chairperson for Treasury
  • Fabiana Perera, Vice Chairperson for Program Affairs
  • Javier Lopez, Vice Chairperson for Fundraising
  • Kristin Soto, Secretary

Perera is completing an unexpired two-year term.

Board At-Large members appointed by Dr. Antonio Flores, HACU President and CEO, are:

  • Kimberly Sais, At-Large Member, Senior Policy Advisor, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
  • Shalimar Alio, At- Large Member, Manager of Events and Marketing at 305 Communications and Events

The HACU Alumni Association (HAA) was founded in 1997 by individuals who directly benefited from HACU’s educational programs. Today, the HAA boasts over 800 members and serves as a professional network providing support to current HACU participants and alumni and to advance the mission and goals of HACU.
