Flores addresses national Latino fraternity

HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores was a guest speaker today at the Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity’s Biennial Convention held in San Antonio, TX.
 
Flores spoke to the fraternity about his experiences attending university in Mexico and the United States and of the importance of brotherhood and the support that such a bond provides.

Sigma Lambda Beta was founded on the campus of the University of Iowa in 1986. The mission of the historically Latino-based fraternity  is to nurture and further a dynamic, value-based environment as a catalyst to better serve the needs and wants of all people.



  

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, founded in 1986, represents more than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Spain, and school districts throughout the U.S. HACU is the only national association representing existing and emerging Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The Association’s headquarters are in San Antonio, Texas, with regional offices in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, California.
