HNIP sets internship application, program dates for 2010-2011 academic year

 

The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP), the nation’s largest Hispanic internship program, announces its application deadlines for the 2010-2011 academic year. Through the program, students placed in paid internships gain experience working in the federal and corporate sectors.

The following is a list of the important HNIP dates:

 * To accommodate students who attend institutions that operate on a quarter calendar, we have a later start date for the summer session only (June 20 - Aug. 27, 2011).  Application deadlines remain the same.

 ** Early application deadlines are set for internships that require a security clearance, an extensive interview process or drug testing in order to participate.
Such internships are at agencies within the intelligence community and some corporations. If you are not selected for one of these internships, your application will automatically be considered for the additional summer internships we have available.
