Design Your Future finalists announced
Five fashion design students will model their own suit design during a fashion show presented as part of a Student Track event taking place on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2 - 3:15 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

This is the third year that HACU partners with Gap Inc., on the Design Your Future/Diseña Tu Futuro competition, which offers students majoring in a fashion design program at a HACU-member institution a chance to compete for a scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
- Lizvette Damman, an apparel design major with a minor in marketing at Baylor University, Waco, TX.
- Michele Crow, a fashion design major at Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS
- Kin Wa Sweeney, a fashion design major at Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS
- Miquette Elliott, a fashion and textile design major with a minor in textiles at the University of California-Davis, Davis, California.
- Robert Richard, a fashion design and fashion merchandising major with a minor in business at the University of North Texas, Denton, TX.
The Design Your Future/Diseña Tu Futuro fashion show is a Student Track event, part of HACU’s 24th Annual Conference, being held on Sept. 18-20, 2010, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Students can still register to attend the Student Track.
