HACU and U.S. Coast Guard sign MOU

HACU President Antonio R. Flores and USCG Chief of Staff Vice Admiral John Currier sign MOU between HACU and U.S. Coast Guard.

HACU and the United States Coast Guard (USCG) entered in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) committing both to establishing a framework of cooperative initiatives between HACU and the USCG that will increase participation of Hispanic students attending Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) in programs sponsored by the USCG.

USCG Chief of Staff Vice Admiral John Currier and HACU President Antonio Flores signed on behalf of the two parties. The signing took place on Sept. 19 during the President’s VIP Networking Reception at HACU’s 24th Annual Conference, held in San Diego.
