President’s Awards of Excellence presented during Partnership Luncheon at Annual Conference

HACU announced three 2010 President’s Awards of Excellence during its Partnership Luncheon held during the association’s 24th Annual Conference in San Diego, CA.

Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Leon Panetta gives the keynote address at a Partnership Luncheon held at HACU's Annual Conference.

The following awards were presented after the keynote address delivered by Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Leon Panetta.  

• Outstanding HACU Private Sector Partner was awarded to MillerCoors in recognition of extraordinary support of HACU’s mission.
• New Public Sector Partner Award was presented to the United States Census Bureau in recognition of its commitment to HACU’s National Internship Program.
• Extraordinary Philanthropic Partner Award was presented to the Walmart Foundation in recognition of outstanding support.

Each year the awards are presented to individuals and organizations that exemplify HACU’s mission of championing Hispanic higher education. HACU also awarded three other awards during its Power Luncheon held on Sept. 19, 2010. More>>
