HSIs among those to meet with a new 112th Congress during 2011 National Capitol Forum

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has announced April 4-5, 2011 as the dates for its 2011 National Capitol Forum on Hispanic higher education, taking place at the Westin Washington D.C. City Center. The upcoming Capitol Forum will be held soon after the new 112th Congress convenes in 2011.

The 2011 Capitol Forum will feature a new agenda which begins Monday, April 4, at noon and will include visits to Capitol Hill that will provide leaders in the Hispanic higher education community to interact directly with members of the House and Senate and have their voices heard.

Among those expected to attend are leaders, administrators, students, and staff of HACU-member colleges and universities who will join public policymakers, key federal agency leaders, allied organizations, Hispanic-serving school districts, and corporate, community and philanthropic representatives during a national platform for winning public- and private-sector support for Hispanic higher education.
