Student scholarships available for HACU’s Annual Conference

Applications are currently being accepted from college and university students to attend the Student Track program of HACU’s 25th Annual Conference Oct. 29-31 in San Antonio, TX.

The Student Conference Scholarship covers the cost of Student Track conference, travel, and lodging. Meals are provided at conference-sponsored events. Students selected must attend all events, including Student Track workshops, leadership forums, mixers and career fair.  To apply students must submit an online application and one-page resume. Applications are due by August 5.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate/professional degree program
  • have not received a HACU Conference Scholarship for the 2010 Annual Conference
  • must be physically attending home institution in the Fall 2011

Students will be sponsored by a corporate or federal sponsor and will be required to meet with the sponsor at the event.

Colleges and universities can also sponsor a student to represent their institution as part of the Student Ambassador program.
