HACU President to speak on college completion at Higher Education Summit

HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores will speak on two panels during the first day of the 2011 Asian & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Scholarship Fund College Completion Forum: Strengthening Institutions that Serve Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Flores will be among the panelists of the “Minority-Serving Institutions and College Completion” and “AAPI College Completion: Discussion and Recommendations” sessions. The events will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C., on June 27-28, 2011.

The two-part forum will bring together a multicultural group of political leaders, higher education researchers and administrators, representatives from the private and government sectors, community organizations, foundations, and students to generate an active dialogue on the national college completion agenda and its impact on the AAPI community.

Attendance on the first day of the forum is open to the public. The second day of the forum is by invitation only. For information and agenda, visit apiasf.org
