HACU Study Abroad Scholarship Programs
HACU has partnered with several study abroad providers to provide scholarships for students at HACU member institutions to participate in a number of programs around the world.  In addition to the scholarship, a student can ordinarily apply federal financial aid (Pell Grant, Stafford Loan, and PLUS loan) toward this study abroad program. HACU-Global Learning Semesters Program will offer one student nominated from each HACU member institution a $1000 scholarship for eligible participants in one of their 35 study abroad opportunities.  Visit studyabroadscholars.org for more information.
NEW! Summer in Mexico: Hispanic Heritage
Designed specifically for students enrolled at a member institution of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), the Summer in Mexico: Hispanic Heritage allows students of all Spanish levels to combine an intensive Spanish language course with an introductory course taught in English on Mexican politics, history, culture and the arts. This program aims to reintroduce students of Hispanic heritage to their history, culture and ancestry.

HACU-AIFS Scholarship Program

The new American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS)-HACU program will provide scholarships of up to 50% of the full program fee to study at Richmond, the American International University in London, England. Students will gain work experience as part of a special internship program where they will be placed with an international company in their field of interest. The program is available during the summer and both fall and spring semesters.

Paid Summer Health Services Research Internship for Undergraduate Minority Students
To prepare top candidates to pursue careers in health services research, the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI), the Health Care Systems Department of the Wharton School, and the VA Center of Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP) are co-sponsoring a summer program for rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors from underrepresented minority groups, or anyone interested in exploring the field of health services research.
