HACU's 7th International Conference

This year's International Conference kicked off on Thursday at the beautiful campus of the Universidad de Alcalá, Spain. His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias is scheduled to preside at the inauguration of the Conference at noon on Friday, May 4, 2007. (more)

Sodexho Partnership Renewed HACU and SodexhoUSA have renewed their partnership, and Sodexho has committed to a $75,000 contribution to HACU, including participation in the HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) program this summer, with a $2,500 scholarship awarded to each of the interns selected. Santa Fe Community College and College of Santa Fe Reach Groundbreaking Tuition Agreement Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) and College of Santa Fe (CSF), both HACU member institutions, have created a new tuition agreement that will give SFCC graduates who receive associate degrees and transfer to CSF, the city's largest private institution of higher learning, an 80-percent tuition reduction in any of the private college's traditional programs or a 50-percent reduction in the college's evening and weekend programs. Latin American Cancer Research Coalition Sponsoring Summer Course Scholarships and Internship Available The Latin American Cancer Research Coalition (LACRC) is sponsoring the "Social Marketing for the Latino Community" course, June 4-8, on the Georgetown University campus. In addition to the course, The Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University is offering a six-week summer paid internship program for undergraduate and graduate students and scholarship to attend the course for credit.
