The Voice of Hispanic Higher Education E-Newsletter
Volume 3 Issue 12
December 6, 2007

Let your voice be heard in DC, April 13-15
Don't miss this collaborative opportunity to shape and promote an agenda for Congress and the country at HACU's  13th Annual National Capitol Forum on Hispanic Higher Education, April 13-15, 2008 in Washington, DC.

We highly encourage university presidents and leaders of HACU-member colleges and universities to join public policymakers, key federal agency leaders, allied organizations, corporate, community and philanthropic representatives for this powerful national platform for winning public- and private-sector support for Hispanic higher education. Visits to Capitol Hill allow leaders in the Hispanic higher education community to interact directly with key members of the House and Senate. Online Registration is available. Advertising and Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Seeking college students for Internship Program
The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) recruits college students for paid summer-and semester-long internships. Students will have the opportunity to participate in cooperative and internship assignments in Washington, D.C., and throughout the country.  These ten- and fifteen-week assignments give college students hands-on experience in a variety of careers in the federal and corporate sectors.
