Resources Measuring Up 2008: The National Report Card on Higher Education bythe National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education The report measures the performance of the nation and all 50 states in five key areas: college preparation, college participation, college affordability, college completion, and benefits to the state. Grant Announcement - The NRC Nuclear Education Grant Program’s primary purpose is supporting and developing the educational infrastructure necessary to allow the nation to safely move its nuclear energy initiatives forward. Eligible mental health-related academic areas include psychology, social work, human development, behavioral health, sociology, nursing, public health, law and public policy.The foundation is especially interested in mental health research that has implications for underserved communities or is related to the foundation’s current key areas of interest. Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Eurasia, Central Asia Application deadline January 30Host applications from U.S. universities are now being accepted for the 2009-10 Global UGRAD program. This program provides fellowships for 130 promising underrepresented undergraduate students from Eurasia and Central Asia for one academic year of full-time, non degree study in the United States in any academic field.
