HACU announces 2010-11 Scholarship Program recipients More than $270,000 has being awarded to 181 deserving students, as part of HACU’s scholarship program. The scholarship recipients are students of HACU-member institutions who met various program criteria. More>>
International Conference deadlines extended - Nov. 12 The deadline for speaker proposals for HACU’s 9th International Conference has been extended until Nov. 12. The International Conference will take place February 23-25, 2011, at the Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The early response registration discount deadline is also Nov. 12. Help kids get covered and "in the game" with children's health insurance Many children who want to participate in sports are sidelined because they don’t have health coverage and can’t affo rd mandatory physicals or care if hurt. Nearly five million uninsured kids in the U.S. are eligible for health coverage today. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services wants you to know free or low-cost coverage is available for them. The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Medicaid are available now.
