Two deadlines approaching next week, April 13
Submit your nomination for the HACU Hall of Champions  Do you know of someone who has made a significant difference in Hispanic higher education? If so, April 13th is the deadline to submit a nomination for the HACU Hall of Champions. The individual selected will be inducted during the association's 2012 Annual Conference, October 20-22, in Washington D.C. More>>
Call for Presentations deadline for Annual Conference is April 13 Speaker proposals for HACU’s 2012 Annual Conference will be accepted until April 13. Download Guidelines. The annual conference will take place Oct. 20-22 in Washington, D.C.
HACU scholarship application deadline is May 25  Students from HACU-member institutions can apply online for HACU's 2012-13 Scholarship Program. More than 30 scholarships valued at $2,000 to $5,000 each will be awarded to students who meet eligibility requirements. Deadline to apply is May 25th. HACU awarded GSA contract HACU has been awarded a Government Services Administration (GSA) Contract for the HACU National Internship Program (HNIP). The GSA contract will allow government agencies to sole source and will speed the federal purchase cycle, significantly streamlining federal participation in HNIP. HACU president speaks at CHCI Latino Education Policy Forum HACU President & CEO Antonio R. Flores was among the speakers at the Latino Education Policy Forum, which took place in San Antonio on March 30, 2012. The forum, under the theme “Keeping the Promise: Partnerships for Latino Education Success,” was an event sponsored by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI). More>>
