Hispanic College Quiz seeks participants for the 2012 show Deadline: May 22
 Entries are currently being accepted from U.S. HACU-member institutions for the 2012 television broadcast of the "Hispanic College Quiz.” The television program will feature students answering a series of multiple-choice questions on Latino history and will air during Hispanic Heritage Month. HACU-member institutions granted HSACU certification
The United States Department of Agriculture has released its procedures to certify eligible Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) as Hispanic-Serving Agricultural Colleges and Universities (HSACUs). From the 71 HSIs that qualify for this designation, 57 are HACU-member institutions. More>>
Apply to Host On-Campus Training for EducationUSA Advisers Proposal Deadline: May 26
Accredited U.S. higher education institutions are invited to submit proposals to host the on-campus portion of the Fall 2012 EducationUSA Training Institute (October 21-27, 2012). In addition to reimbursement for adviser expenses (lodging, food, transportation, materials), campus hosts will receive an honorarium of $6000. The Government of Jalisco, Mexico has launched its 2nd International Human Cities, Inclusive Cities Award.
